Browser security 256-bit encryption
When you logon to Investor Online, you are entering a secure environment. This means that any information you view or enter online is protected from unauthorised access by a method called encryption. For more information about encryption, see below.
Investor Online employs the latest in browser security. We have registered a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) issued security certificate that provides you with a secure 256-bit Transport Layer Security (TLS) encrypted connection. It encrypts all data transferred to and from your browser so you can be sure your Account Number, PIN and all your online Account information remains confidential and is protected from unauthorised people.
Personal Identification Number (PIN)
To gain access to Investor Online, you are required to enter both your PIN and Account Number. To maximise security, an encrypted system is used to generate your PIN. Your PIN is sent to you separately to your Account Number.
How do I change my PIN?
- From Account > Manage my account click Change PIN
- Enter your current PIN
- Enter your new PIN (minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 numbers, letters cannot be used)
- Re-enter your new PIN
- Click Submit
What if I have forgotten my PIN?
If you've lost or forgotten your PIN, you can request a new one either by:
- clicking the 'Forgotten PIN' link on the Investor Online login screen. To use this option, you will need to answer a few verification questions and ensure we already hold your email address on our system; or
